Kelly Westlake, of Kaptured by Kelly photography, is an accomplished portrait and wedding photographer specializing in newborn photography over the past 14 years. She is known for her creative and original newborn styling as well as her ability to get babies to sleep and position seamlessly throughout her sessions.
Kelly is also admired for her knack of Kapturing the emotions of those in her photos. She loves to Kapture families outdoors at various locations throughout the Region, where her flair for utilizing natural lighting really shines. Kaptured by Kelly has become well renowned in the Durham Region for her event and wedding photography. She is the lead photographer for many annual community events such as the Police Appreciation Night (PADAN) and numerous Corporate Functions. Kelly is passionate about Kapturing life's precious moments through her camera lens, which transcends when viewing her work. Kelly has won the Reader's Choice Awards Platinum for Best Photography Studio/Services and Best Wedding Photographer for 2021 and Diamond Award for Best Photographer, Best Photography Studio/Servcie and Best Wedding Photographer in 2020.
Born and raised in Solina, Kelly now lives in Bowmanville where her state of the art newborn studio is located. Kelly is the proud Mom of two children whom she adores. She is also a furMama to her faithful dog Theo and also loves Kapturing dogs with their owners or by themselves.
Her priority during any session or event is to have fun with her clients and make their session relaxed for anyone being photographed. She takes pride in the numerous long standing relationships she has formed over the years with countless repeat clients and many whom have become her friend over the years.
Victoriana Domingos is Kaptured by Kelly's PhotoShop artist who puts all the finishing touches on every picture after Kelly's own editing process.
Kelly LeMay - is Kelly's long standing second shooter for all weddings and corporate functions. Kelly has her own photography business and these two have been Kapturing weddings together for the last few years. They work seamlessly together and have so much fun.
Amanda Glaspell/Brooklyn Westlake/Dawson Westlake - long standing assistants for newborn sessions and mini shoots. Amanda is also an RN which gives an extra piece of mind for assisting with newborns.
